I love the way you talk. Like spreading plaster nice and smooth. Has anybody ever told you that?

I miss those midnight conversations. I miss how you would make me laugh out of my own frustration. But you just come to know that you get so used to being loved, and in one second it can all come crashing down. Now I know to not let anything get that far ever again, because I didn’t know how I could wake up one morning and have it all hit me. I didn’t know I could miss you this much.

  11. Onwards!

I don’t post things up of my own writing or about myself very often, but I feel that this is an important time I should document on a space in the cyber world.

I have made it. After 29 hours of travelling, 19 of which were spent flying in various aircrafts, I have been able to pack my bags and travel halfway across the world to a fairly distant country and be away from my ultimate physical comfort zone for a period of 36 days.

This will mark the greatest adventure in my time on earth thus far. Sure, I miss home and time seems to be moving horribly slow, but I have, in addition to the support of family and friends, a gazillion tonnes worth of determination that I will pull through this experience no matter how difficult it may seem to be; physically, emotionally, mentally, spiritually.

If you have a moment, keep me in your prayers so that I may pull through and stay safe. Thank you for reading this.

I’m not fascinated by people who smile all the time. What I find interesting is the way people look when they are lost in thought, when their face becomes angry or serious, when they bite their lip, the way they glance, the way they look down when they walk, when they are alone and smoking a cigarette, when they smirk, the way they half smile, the way they try and hold back tears, the way when their face says they want to say something but can’t, the way they look at someone they want or love… I love the way people look when they do these things. It’s… beautiful.

You know, one day you look at the person and you see something more than you did the night before. Like a switch has been flicked somewhere. And the person who was just a friend is suddenly the only person you can ever imagine yourself with.

I wonder if Beethoven held his breath the first time his fingers touched the keys the same a way soldier holds his breath the first time his finger clicks the trigger, we all have different reasons for forgetting to breathe.
